If you are looking for a classic James Braid design that makes full use of the natural topography, our 9 hole course is a "must play". From a golf course architect's perspective, the Laggan Braes tick many boxes - no two holes are remotely similar. Well shaped greens (some of which are raised) will challenge all aspects of your short game if your approach misses the putting surface, and the bunkers, whilst deep, are not overly penal. The views are a constant attraction, and even if your game is not A1, you will not come off the course feeling short changed.
Golf Vlogger Erik Anders Lang played Comrie as part of Scottish tour organised by Visit Scotland and Golf Perthshire in 2018. His light hearted video (preceded by game at Gleneagles earlier the same day) makes reference to the special, unique feeling Erik and his playing partners felt at Comrie; proof that you don't need to play a championship course to truly appreciate what golf in Scotland is like.
A variety of tees provide something for all levels of golfer. Some challenging carries are required from the men's medal tees (Blue), but the course can also be equally enjoyed from the forward tees, with additional help available from beginners / seniors tee positions on the 3rd, 5th and 7th holes.

The 1st green is in the valley beyond this fine stone seat, built in memory of 2 past captains, Bob Arnott and Artie Temple.

With stands of birch, pine, and larch throughout the course, golf at Comrie is a walk with nature. Keep an eye out for red squirrels, mistle thrush, woodpeckers and roe deer during your round. Overhead, buzzards, red kites and the occasional raven can also be spotted.
