Ladies
The Ladies' Section in Comrie Golf Club is very active indeed. There is an informal 9-hole gathering on Monday morning at 9.00 a.m., which all lady members of whatever standard are most welcome to attend. This should be of particular interest to new members who would like to meet others, and also to those who have recently taken up the game, and are working towards achieving a handicap as well as those who do not wish to play the full 18 hole round on Tuesday. After the golf, there is an opportunity to socialise in the clubhouse over a coffee or cup of tea.
Tuesday is Ladies' Medal day, with 18 holes played from the Medal tees, starting at 1.00, 5.00 and 6.00pm (May to August) and 1.00pm (September to April). Again, there is an opportunity to mingle afterwards while the results are processed!
Various matches against neighbouring clubs take place during the season, and there are internal club championships in singles and pairs, as well as the annual Ladies' Open. There are also various club competitions involving the men, in mixed foursomes and greensomes. There is an annual Ladies outing, a Christmas Lunch, and Annual Dinner .
